The CWC Solutions Challenge runs 8:00 AM Earth Day to 2:50 PM on America’s 250th Anniversary.

Winners announced at 5:00 PM on July 4th, 2026.

The Challenge:

Create something that uses at least 5 ideas you believe are most important for the average person to implement. These can come from the Solutions Action Menu or be your own.

Top submission receives $250 in recognition of America’s 250th Anniversary, plus a large custom handmade garden accessory tailored to the winner.

Everyday things like yard care, leaves in the street, water spray vs drip irrigation… do they actually add up in a meaningful way?

Community Commons is the entry point for open civic dialogue, idea exploration, and thoughtful discussion related to groundwater stewardship, local land use decisions, and relevant civic developments. Members may share early ideas, questions, relevant articles, local observations, updates on hearings or approvals, and reflections on data and policy concepts. This space is intended for conversation, exploration, and building shared understanding.

Solution Sharing is where ideas with meaningful community support move for structured development and consideration of actionable steps.

Formed Frameworks is where refined concepts are organized for leadership review and potential implementation.

A Community in Action is where members share real-world efforts and progress that support clean, available water and responsible stewardship.

Each stage builds on the last, turning shared understanding into coordinated action across backyard projects, community efforts, and policy.

All participation should remain respectful, relevant, and constructive.
